01
Copyright notices
Send copyright notices to copyright@factnot.com. FactNot does not claim registered U.S. DMCA designated-agent status unless a designated agent has been registered with the U.S. Copyright Office and the corresponding public notice details appear on this page.
- Identify the copyrighted work or a representative list of works.
- Identify the material claimed to infringe and provide enough information for FactNot to locate it, including the FactNot URL when available.
- Provide your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Include the required good-faith and accuracy statements and a physical or electronic signature.
02
Counter-notices
If content was removed or disabled because of a copyright notice and you believe that happened through mistake or misidentification, you may send a legally complete counter-notice to copyright@factnot.com.
- Identify the removed material and where it appeared before removal.
- Include the statements, jurisdiction consent, contact details, and signature required by applicable law.
- Submitting false notices or counter-notices may create legal liability; consider obtaining legal advice.
03
Separate reporting paths
Copyright review is separate from factual challenges, privacy requests, bug reports, and safety reports so each request reaches the appropriate workflow.
- For personal-data rights, use /privacy/request.
- For illegal content, harassment, intimate imagery, child safety, impersonation, privacy exposure, spam, or other abuse, use /safety/report.
- For a disputed factual claim, use the factual-challenge control attached to the relevant content.
